Close to 90 Flights Associated to Epstein Reportedly Came to or from British Airfields

An investigation has uncovered that close to 90 flights connected to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein are said to have touched down at and left UK airfields, with some allegedly carrying women from the UK who claim they were exploited by the convicted sex offender.

Flight Logs Show Trail of Travel

The flight logs were part of thousands of court documents and files released by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the last year. The analysis identified 87 aircraft movements tied to Epstein – encompassing many that were not previously known – coming into or leaving from UK airports between the early 1990s and 2018.

Onboard Individuals and Post-Conviction Travel

Unnamed women were documented among the travelers entering and exiting the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys took place after Epstein’s 2008 guilty verdict for procuring prostitution from a minor.

“This is ‘astonishing’ that there had never been a ‘comprehensive British inquiry’ into his activities in the country,” said American attorneys representing numerous Epstein survivors.

UK Survivors and Court Cases

Evidence from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epstein’s associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of child sex-trafficking in the US in 2021. However, that individual has never been contacted by police in the UK, as stated by her Florida-based lawyer.

In a statement, the the Met indicated they had “not been provided with any additional evidence that would support reopening the inquiry.” They added, “Should fresh and pertinent evidence be presented to us, encompassing any resulting from the release of documents in the US, we will assess it.”

Ongoing Disclosure and Legal Rulings

A bill to release all files held by the US government in concerning Epstein passed the House and Senate last month. The Department of Justice has until 19 December to comply. A vast number of documents are projected to be released.

In a related development, a US judge ruled last week that the department could publicly release case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epstein’s longtime confidante, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term over the charges.
