Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

An aircraft carrying Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth was compelled to make an unplanned landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was identified in the plane's windshield, according to an official announcement which stated that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down based on established safety measures and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is unharmed," a press officer stated in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the Belgian capital during the flight.

This incident isn't the first occasion that a United States armed forces jet carrying a senior official has encountered technical problems.

Months ago, a American military jet transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was compelled to turn back to Washington DC after suffering a mechanical fault.
